In Our Prime: The Invention of Middle Age is the title of my book, published by Scribner. I am a reporter for the New York Times and I write about culture and arts. I have worked at Rolling Stone Magazine, The Washington Post and New York Newsday. My work has been included in The Longman Writer, a writing textbook, and I am a contributor to the four-volume series, The New York Times Guide to the Arts of the 20th Century.
